RCYC’s Lipton Challenge team, helmed by Greg Davis and managed by Dave Hudson have arrived in Durban and are ready to ‘bring it home!’The team, constituting a well bonded and experienced crew will challenge aboard sail no 024 RMS HARBOUR LIGHTS. Thanks to the kind support and sponsorship of RCYC member Mike Daly, the team are now fully prepared to do all it takes to bring the Lipton Cup back home.

Durban plays host to the biggest sailing event in South Africa, the Ola Lipton Challenge Cup taking place offshore from 7-12 July.
Defending champions, the Royal Natal Yacht Club welcomes the créme-de-la-créme of the country’s “yachties” travelling to our warm waters as they compete in search of the holy grail of the aquatic sport sailing, the historic Lipton Cup.
