Alberto Cuesta Canada+61410745216I've been crewing for the last three years in Kookaburra I out of Williamstown, Australia. Kookaburra I was one of the yachts built by Australia to compete on the '87 America's Cup (Kookaburra III was the one that finally competed - experience is mainly as midbow, mast or bowman, grinding when needed. I would be happy trimming in not very competitive setups. I'm 5'7" and 65 Kg.I have a Safety and Sea Survival Certification, and a First Aid Certification, although I've got limited open seas experience, having sailed with waves below 3m only. I don't get seasick, though.I'll be in Cape Town from October 22 until January 11, and would love to crew on a yacht for the evening series. I can commit to sail every race of the series from 22 October onwards.I've never sailed in Cape Town before, so I'd appreciate some advice on the gear I'll need, as I can take only a limited amount of stuff with me.My sailing with Kookaburra was competitive, but not professional, meaning that we would do our best to win and learn to become better, but we rarely sailed just for training. Having a good time was a priority over winning every time. I enjoyed that kind of setup, but I'd also enjoy a more relaxed pace if offered, what I like most is just to sail and to be on the water.
Mathew Thomas Gunston0828589470I have completed my day skippers and would love the opportunity to learn more as well as get some sailing done.
