Vortex, a Bongers 39, owned and skippered by Andrew Mitchell. Vortex came 1st in the 2017 Mossel Bay Offshore race in the Club Handicap Division 1.

The trimaran, Banjo, has just entered the race. Banjo will be skippered by Kevin Webb and has completed the race three times.

Caribbean Soul, an Islander 48, is owned by S Viljoen and skippered by the very experienced offshore yachtsman Boet Koopmans.

Asante, owned and skippered by Francois Stocken, is a new boat by Cape Town standards and has yet to be seen properly on the race course.
