Puma Twilight Overall Prize Giving took place in the Main Hall last night, followed by the final Race 9 of the series.
31 boats took to the water last night for a great evening sail, in a flat sea, but with a strong 25 knott south east. Vulcan and A-L were on top form in Division 1, for full Race Results see Race9 9999
Commodore, Dale Kushner, thanked Puma for the two series sponsorship that they have been involved in with RCYC over the last two and half years. Sadly RCYC said thank you and goodbye to Puma, and we handed over a traditional plaque of Appreciation to Alexander Hully of Puma.
Our Gencom and Sailing Committee member, Luke Scott, took us through some statistics from the Puma Twilight Series, one of the most interesting was the announcements of four boats, who took part in every single Puma Twilight Race since October 2011 until now.
A-L Robbie Van Rooyen
Alliance Francaise – Alexandre Monat
