While the Regatta Centre is our flagship venue accommodating up to 250 guests at a time, we also welcome smaller private celebrations in our upstairs Chart Room and Visitors Lounge. RCYC can meet all your food & beverage requirements and rely on outsourced suppliers to provide the latest on-trend furniture, décor and AV.

RCYC is not subject to load shedding as we are situated in the Cape Town Port and noise restrictions don’t apply. Safe and free parking is available at the Club, subject to availability.

We look forward to hosting your meetings, conferences, product launches, year-end parties, weddings – in fact, anything that calls for a celebration.

The Regatta Centre, the premium venue for weddings, functions and conferences in Cape Town. This light and airy multi-functional venue easily accommodates 150 guests seated at tables, or 250 guests, cocktail style. Permanent bar facilities eases service, while the waterfront side gives a spectacular view of the marina, even in the wildest winter weather.

RCYC provides our own catering and a delightful selection of canapes, buffet and plated options are available. This 18m x18m venue is available for Halaal and Kosher weddings, in which case a “Dry Hire” applies (venue only). With your imagination and the skill of our staff, this venue can be transformed into your dream event.

Together the Chartroom and Visitors Lounge also offer the option of having a meeting/conference in a boardroom setting in the Chartroom, with a breakaway area in the Visitors Lounge.

This upstairs venue is private with a superb view of the Marina from our ‘bow’ shaped balconies. Concertina doors slide aside to merge the two venues into one larger area suitable for weddings and parties for up to 60 guests cocktail style, or a maximum of 50 guests if a small dance area is required.

If used for a sit down dinner the venue can accommodate a maximum of 50 guests. Also has it’s own private bar facilities.

Together the Chartroom and Visitors Lounge offers the option of a meeting/conference in a boardroom setting in the Chartroom, with a breakaway area in the Visitors Lounge.
