At the Royal Cape Yacht Club, our world-class marina is designed to keep you sailing—smoothly, safely, and with total convenience.
With 386 fully serviced block and chain moorings available to both members and visiting yachts, you’ll find everything you need right at your berth, including fresh water, lighting, and 220v electrical supply.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Behind the scenes, RCYC delivers serious capability. Our 18-tonne lift and expansive hardstand area cater to everything from quick turnarounds to long-term refits, while our on-site chandlery keeps you stocked and supported with essential gear and expert maintenance services.
For larger vessels, the Club offers a 40-tonne slipway, ensuring that even the biggest projects are handled with ease and efficiency.

Planning your arrival? Vessels exceeding 65ft LOA or 3m draft are required to notify the Club in advance, and all visits should be booked ahead of time to ensure a seamless experience.

BOAT REPAIRS AND CHANDLERY

RCYC provides 386 block and chain moorings to members and visitors. All moorings are fitted with fresh water supply, lighting and 220v electrical supply.
Vessels more than a LOA of 65’ or draft of 3m are to advise the Club prior to arrival. Bookings are required in advance of any visit.

INDEMNITY
It is understood and agreed that the Royal Cape Yacht Club and employees cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever caused to boats or equipment.
Use of facilities and marina is undertaken at the yacht owner’s/ representative’s/contractor’s own risk.
CONTRACTORS
Contractors engaged by the owner/owner’s representative will be subject to the above indemnity and will make themselves aware of and comply with the safety regulations relating to the use of equipment, scaffolding etc. Contactors will ensure that any spray painting is undertaken in accordance with the regulations in force at the time and that they will protect all surrounding yachts from overspray.
