Would you like to serve on the RCYC Protest Committee from time to time?
Part of the service RCYC offers to our racing sailors is a skilled and authoritative protest committee to resolve protests, deal with requests for redress, and to be available to members for advice on the Racing Rules and guidance when it comes to hearings.
We are fortunate in having five club members who are qualified and experienced sailing judges to lead our protest committees, and would like to invite other club members who race regularly and have a working knowledge of the rules to add their names to pool of potential protest committee members. The experience of serving on a well managed protest committee is invariably beneficial to one’s own racing.
